(More customer reviews)Unfortunately, Allen Edmonds got purchased by an equity firm a couple of years ago. Slowly but surely more and more manufacturing is moving off-shore. For example, a number of the casual handsewn styles previously made in the Lewiston, Maine factory have been moved to the Dominican Republic. Now they appear to be experimenting with belts made in China??? I would think Allen Edmonds must know that their customers will not continue to pay top dollar for mass market merchandise. Very unfortunate.
