(More customer reviews)I just started buying Allen Edmonds shoes this year. I'm really impressed with the quality and craftsmanship. I have a narrow width (B) and I have no problems in getting any Allen Edmonds shoe in my size. I think they craft widths from AAA to EEE. There's nothing like wearing a shoe that actually fits your foot! The Allen Edmonds Elgin is a nice looking shoe. It took a couple day to break them in. I placed a felt tongue pads on the shoe tongue to alleviate any discomfort to the top of my foot until they were fully broken in. Really thick soles and overall durable leather. They will not wear out any time soon. But when they do wear out I can send them to Allen Edmonds and they will bring them back to "near new" condition! I can wear these with nice kaki colored slacks or even blue jeans work too. I can wear these on a more casual day and wear my Allen Edmonds Park Avenue style when I need to dress up. What I understand is that this is a new style from Allen Edmonds called the rough collection. You can't beat the quality!
